A partial me, Piong, Ad, Ranjit, a hidden Yanti and Chal and a jolly Tiong grinding on a wide-grinned Mus.
A better view of me, Yanti and Chal; only now Ad's hidden behind Ranjit and Tiong is hidden elsewhere too.
I just loooooooove Starlight.
I've had a fantabulous weekend. How about you?
Saturday was the ratib-cum-cukur-rambut session for Matin (he's about 1mth+ now, btw) at my place. You see, I've never heard or been to a ratib in my whole entire life. It's something like a kenduri or doa selamat of somesort. So there was this baca2 thing led by my uncle which I think sounded super cool; and what amazed me the most was how everyone chorussed back together when we were doing the asyrakal (don't know spelling, sorry). I felt so spiritually uplifted; in a way that I've never felt before. And when we came to the part where we could each individually doa for ourselves; I felt this overwhelming feeling; an immense faith in the Almighty. It's hard to explain, but unlike any other doas, my faith in the Lord suddenly grew so strong; as if He and the angels around him were building up my semangat to believe that practically anything is possible if you believe that much in Him. (Ok. I find myself blabbering already) So you prolly won't get what I mean; but it's ok. I guess some experiences and feelings are meant to be indescribable for they are only and should only be special and meaningful to yourself. (=
Today I went to COMEX 2006 at Expo and goodness gracious me; the crowd reminded me of what I usually see in Mecca. I felt like a pilgrim visiting the Ka'abah the size of Expo. Geez. People were ass to ass, shoulder-to shoulder. It was nauseating. But what the hell, I got my DiviCAM 428! Hell yeah. Sad to say, this cam can't zoom during video shooting. To zoom, I've got to pause and zoom, the resume shooting again. But what the hell, I don't mind it. That itself; took quite some time (yes, dearest grass patch sorry for that ATM fickle-mindedness of mine =P)
Soon we rushed down to his best friend's place. Tiong's brother and sister were getting married. (as in, to their respective wife and husband, you moron. This is no incest situation. Sheesh.) I helped out by clearing the dirty dishes and cups (tough job, walking in heels that were nearly giving up on me, and a broken heel strap.) But it was worth helping a friend. Met his friends; who are now his acquaintances. (the matrep) Ranjit, Piong, Mus and Ad. And omg they are one helluva funny bunch; especially when you add Tiong and Chal. I couldn't help laugh my flabs off. They remind me of the Unsangkarables, with Tiong and Mus as the main comedians. It makes it hard to even digest the fact that they're all 20 and beyond. (yes, I was the youngest. and the shortest.) Haha.
Super hilarious bunch of people, they are. We ended up spending say, nearly 2hours down at the corner of the void deck; where time and time again Mus will wonder aloud why we were all huddled "kat bawah tempat taik". Haha.
Should've taken a pic of Fattah at the moment where his forehead was smashed with a blob of wedding cake by Tiong. Haha. Well there are simply 2 horribly-taken pics of us (minus my grass patch, sadly) up there. Fattah took it (hence the awful outcome. =P) and Tiong made it so hard to look serious. So we were all candid the whole time.
So I've hung out with his friends. When am I gonna meet my girls? I miss going to school with you people.
And,
let me take this opportunity to wish:
Happy 19th Anniversary to my dearest parents and to Hairi's parents (my uncle and aunt, for they got married on the same day.)
May love continue to blossom between all of you. =)
Thanks for having me, Mum n Dad.
